2. What Data We Collect
Automatically collected (anonymous):
- Page views (path, referrer, language, viewport width) via our own cookieless analytics. Instead of a cookie, we compute a daily-rotating anonymous hash from your IP address and browser signature. The raw IP is never stored, the hash cannot be reversed, and it changes every day — so you cannot be tracked across days.
- Clicks on affiliate links (which partner, from which page)
Voluntarily provided:
- Email address (only if you use the "email my reading list" feature or the contact form)
- Name and message (contact form)
- Questions you ask the e-Advisor (see section 4 — processed by the Claude AI API to generate answers)
3. Cookies
This site sets no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party cookies. Analytics works entirely without cookies. Therefore no cookie consent banner is required.
One functional cookie (an anonymous session token) is set only if you actively use the bookmark feature, so your reading list can be restored on your next visit. It contains no personal information and expires after 1 year.
4. How We Use Your Data
- Analytics: Anonymous, cookieless usage statistics help us understand which content is useful. Raw data is stored in Supabase (EU region, Frankfurt) and deleted after 90 days; only aggregated, fully anonymous statistics are kept longer.
- e-Advisor (AI chat): Your questions are sent to the Claude API (Anthropic) to generate answers. Conversations are logged with an anonymous daily-rotating identifier to improve answer quality. Do not enter personal or sensitive data into the chat.
- Bookmarks: An anonymous session token allows you to save and retrieve bookmarked content. No personal information is stored unless you voluntarily provide your email to receive your reading list.
- Contact form: Your name, email, and message are forwarded to us via Resend (email service). We respond directly to your email.

6. Affiliate Links
This site contains affiliate links to Xolo, Wise, and other services. When you click an affiliate link, the partner may set their own cookies on their domain. We have no control over their tracking. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:

8. Data Retention
- Raw analytics and e-Advisor logs: 90 days (auto-deleted)
- Aggregated anonymous statistics: indefinitely
- Bookmark session data: 1 year
- Contact form messages: 2 years
9. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
