Service Providers & Banking

The companies that make e-Residency work. Service providers handle your company formation and accounting. Banking partners give you the accounts to actually run your business.

Service Providers

These companies handle company formation, accounting, tax filing, and compliance for your Estonian company. You need one of them to operate.

Banking Partners

Your Estonian company needs a business bank account. These are the most popular options among e-Residents — tested and proven.

Estonia's own bank — the original e-Resident banking partner

LHV is the only major Estonian bank that actively works with e-Residents. Founded in Tallinn, it's also the bank that powers Wise's European payment infrastructure. LHV offers fee-free SEPA transfers, no account maintenance fees, and an Estonian IBAN (EE prefix). The catch: account opening requires in-person identification in Estonia, and approval rates for non-residents have dropped significantly since 2020.

Lithuanian payment institution — fast, cheap, reliable backup

Paysera is a Lithuanian payment institution regulated by the Bank of Lithuania since 2004. It offers business accounts with a Lithuanian IBAN, low SEPA fees (€0.15 per transfer), and fast account opening (1 day). Paysera lacks the multi-currency depth of Wise and has no integration with e-Residency service providers — but it works well as a backup account for when your primary provider has compliance delays.
